Hey! It's been a while since my last post (not that it really matters) and a lot's been going on since then! Weeks are starting to blur together and the anxiety that comes with school is beginning to set in. I'm happy to report that as of yesterday, Apt #B11 finally has a mail key! It's been a good 5 weeks since we misplaced our old one, and we finally took the initiative to go to the post office and have them remake our lock. So, since we had accumulated a huge stash of mail over the past 5 weeks, it was a pretty joyous occasion. We celebrated with cake and Ice Cream. We celebrated. I was thrilled to have 2 letters awarded to me. One was from Hawaii, and the other a card from my birthday.
What else has happened? Hm... I've been spending a lot of time with the girl I like, my cousin in California labels this pre-dating stage as "talking". So yeah, we're "talking". I've almost made it to the end of this month without going to Walmart. I recently banned myself from visiting Walmart more than 3 times a month after all the frequent visits resulting in impulsive buying. I'm a college student, I don't have that kind of money, despite selling my body twice a week at the Plasma center. In other news, I had an awesome birthday and had the chance to celebrate with a bunch of friends. Homecoming is next week, and things are going to get pretty crazzy!. I'm excited. I'm also looking forward to going camping this weekend with some friends a city away from here. I can expect a good time whenever I'm around them.
Right now I'm sitting in the kitchen next to the stove, listening to Goo Goo Dolls and boiling some noodles for dinner. It's starting to get out of hand so I'd better go! More to come...for those of you that read this. I do this more for myself, because I like writing my thoughts down to reflect on later and it also serves as a stress reliever for me. But I do enjoy your company! haha and I appreciate you concerning yourself with my business! Peace.
PS. The key to success is to keep going! The only difference between those who make it and those who don't is perseverance. Those who have made it never gave up, and never gave in.
